Sindy* was just 11-months old when she was diagnosed with pneumonia by her general practitioner. She was admitted to the relevant State institution where she received treatment accordingly.

However, two days after she was admitted, Sindy developed gangrene in her left foot as the direct result of the medical staff/personnel’s negligence, while administering an arterial line drip in her right femoral artery. When the gangrene was discovered, the medical personnel still did not take action – to the point that Sindy’s foot could not be saved and was amputated to the ankle.

Although Sindy was very young when the incident occurred, she has suffered and will continue to suffer as the quality of her life has been greatly diminished as a result of the malpractice. At Adendorff Attorneys Inc. we are claiming compensation for all her past and future medical expenses, the pain and suffering she has endured mentally and physically, and the probable loss of earning capacity that she will suffer in future as she reaches an age where she needs to find. Something that is hard enough as it is, without having a physical handicap.
